⚠️ Key Considerations

There are three critical points to pay special attention to during selection and use:

  1. Identical Media Required: This is the most important design limitation of the 2620 series. Both channels must transmit the same type of medium. Do not use oil in one channel and air in the other, as cross-leakage will occur as the seals wear.

  2. Installation & Lubrication: The union is typically connected via flange or thread. There are two main lubrication methods: lubricating the gas seal via an oil cup, or using oil-air mist lubrication. If a gas seal is used, no external lubrication is required.

  3. Multi-Union Operation: When connecting multiple unions, you should pressurize only one channel at a time, while keeping the outlets of the other channels open. This prevents cross-leakage between channels.
