Working condition temperature and rotary joint purchase selection

The installation of the rotary joint is simple and saves time and labor, and the equipment transmission medium cannot be separated from the joint. The user can select a suitable rotary joint according to the type of temperature of the medium, etc. Generally, the medium temperature is not high, and ordinary rotary joints can be used for water, cooling water, oil, and the like. If it is hot water, hot oil, steam, etc., the wrong choice of joints may leak and cause a safety accident, so the use of rotary joints is also temperature-limited.

In the instruction manual of the rotary joints, some technical parameters, temperature, pressure and speed range are marked. The general type is marked with 0~80°C, and 80°C~200°C can transfer some hot medium. In the high temperature environment, the end face and the spherical surface of the rotary joint will accelerate wear, the sealing surface medium will be easily vaporized, and the life of the auxiliary sealing ring will be shortened. Therefore, the elastic components and auxiliary seals must be selected under high temperature conditions, and the corrosion resistance will increase under high temperature conditions. There is also a temperature tolerance range for other component materials. The phenolic resin graphite material is impregnated at 180 ° C or lower, the furan resin graphite and the impregnated white alloy graphite are impregnated at 200 ° C or lower, and the bronze graphite and the impregnated silver graphite are impregnated at 500 ° C or lower. Pure graphite generally does not exceed 500 ° C, preferably below 430 ° C, and bronze is preferably below 300 ° C. Under the lowest temperature working conditions, rotate the joint seal fluororubber to -20 ° C, PTFE to -50 ° C.

According to the type and temperature of the medium, as well as the material of the rotary union and the sealing material, you can choose the suitable joint. For example, the water can be selected from the rotary joint of brass or stainless steel. Fluid pressure is also a key parameter for optional rotary joints, typically between 5.0Mpa and 68.6Mpa. The use environment can not be ignored, humidity conditions, dust conditions and corrosion and other factors to consider the type and material of the rotary joint. Finally determine the shape and size, as well as the connection method.
