How the Q-type rotary joint works
The rotary joint for steam is also called a high temperature rotary joint. Commonly known as plum-type rotary joints. It is a typical Q-type rotary joint. Unlike the high temperature heat transfer oil rotary joint, the steam rotary joint is a side hole as the steam inlet. The inner tube acts as a siphon to drain water. The quality of the drainage is directly related to the temperature of the roller. Therefore, the siphon generally uses a rigid tube and a hose. The hard tube extends into the inside of the roller, and the hose hangs down to the inner wall of the roller. Thus, under the pressure of the steam, the condensed water is discharged.
